San Francisco’s iconic rooftop escape, Salesforce Park, is turning up the volume this weekend with a free techno show under the open sky. On Saturday, August 23, the park will host six hours of music from 2 pm to 8 pm, featuring DJs Truncate, Adra, Zachary Noel, Sairé, and more. Known internationally for his role in shaping the Los Angeles techno scene since the 2000s, David Flores, who performs as Truncate, will headline the event. It’s a rare chance to catch world-class electronic music without leaving downtown or buying a ticket.

This show is just one of the many free cultural happenings that have made Salesforce Park a go-to destination for locals and visitors alike. The 5.4-acre park, perched above the Salesforce Transit Center, regularly offers Zumba, yoga, fitness classes, writing workshops, and kid-friendly activities in addition to its concert lineup. Just last weekend, Rooftop Rhythms brought cover bands and family fun to the amphitheater lawn.

For music lovers, Salesforce Park offers a full calendar of performances each week. Guests can enjoy Rooftop Jazz every Wednesday from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm, the Dave Parker Sextet on fourth Thursdays from 11 am to 12:30 pm, Lunchbox Music Fridays from 12 to 1 pm, and Bluegrass Breeze Saturdays from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm. These concerts bring a rotating mix of local talent and timeless genres to the heart of the city, creating an urban stage unlike any other.

Stretching across four city blocks, Salesforce Park is a lush urban oasis with 600 trees, 16,000 plants, open lawns, gardens, and a children’s play area. Access is easy making it a convenient retreat in the middle of downtown. While dogs aren’t permitted due to the landscaping, the park is a family-friendly space perfect for picnics, strolls, and of course, live music. Don’t miss this weekend’s techno showcase on August 23 — a chance to dance, relax, and enjoy San Francisco’s skyline with an unforgettable soundtrack.
