Life at Jasper puts you in the center of excitement every month. May brings a variety of must attend events to the City. We’ve rounded up a few must attend events that include wine walks, ferry Building fun, Mother’s Day events, and much more. Map out your month here:

May 1 + 15, Happy Hour Trivia at The Crossing. Test your knowledge every 1st and 3rd Wednesday of the month at Happy Hour Trivia with Jeff from @SFTrivia.

May 1-12, Urban Tides: A San Francisco Story. Embodying a celebration of the region’s enchanting essence and the Ferry Building’s enduring legacy as a landmark of innovation and a gateway to the heart of SF.

May 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, Ferry Building Wellness Wednesday. An hour of yoga during your lunch hour is a great way to get out of your office, love your body in community, reconnect to your breath, listen to soulful tunes, and recharge your energy for the day.

May 2, First Thursdays at SFMOMA. From 1–8 p.m. on the first Thursday of every month, Bay Area residents can enjoy SFMOMA’s galleries filled with lively and inspiring art — for free.

May 3, 10, 17, 24, Ferry Flicks. Head to the Fort Point Beer Garden at the Ferry Building on Friday nights in May at sundown.

May 4 to November 4, Yerba Buena Gardens Festival. This festival encompasses nearly 100 artistic, cultural and community events from May through November in Yerba Buena Gardens.

May 4, Free Community Day: Art of Noise. In celebration of the opening of Art of Noise, enjoy a day of free admission to SFMOMA.

May 4, San Francisco Scottish Fiddlers. Join the San Francisco Scottish Fiddlers for a concert of rousing tunes from Scotland and beyond.

May 4, 7, 11, 14, 18, 21, Ferry Building Walking Tour. Spend time walking the Embarcadero, as well as exploring the gorgeous nave and shops of the building.

May 5, Flowy Long Sleeves. Celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month and Mother’s Day with a multicultural showcase featuring songs and dances to kick off the festivities in the month of May.

May 5, HEAD WEST Marketplace at the Ferry Building. Every first Sunday of the month, Head West will bring Bay Area Makers, Crafters, Designers, Artists + Vintage Merchants to the Ferry Building’s beautiful back plaza.

May 5, Art and Climate Ride with Mykalle Bielinski. Enjoy a four mile Art & Climate Ride along the Embarcadero from Cupid’s Span to the Wave Organ, exclusively for SFBike members.

May 8, Annual Embarcadero Center Wine Walk. You will have the opportunity to taste wines poured by local wineries while shopping local businesses.

May 9, Comedy at The Crossing. Join The Crossing at East Cut for a night filled with laughs, drinks, bites, and more. 2nd & 4th Thursdays of each month.

May 11 + 23, Architectural Echoes Walking Tour. Explore the juxtaposition of modern and historical architectural marvels in the East Cut.

May 11, Micah Siva, NOSH Foodwise Cooking Demo. Stop by the Foodwise Classroom for a cooking demo featuring the seasonal bounty of the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market.

May 12, Gardeneur Plant Market Pop-Up Event. The Ferry Building front plaza will be filled with a variety of indoor and outdoor plants from 10 AM – 4 PM on the front Plazas.

May 12, Mother’s Day Activities Gift Making in the Marketplace. Enjoy a ‘Ferry Family Day’ of gift making for Mothers and Mother Figures. Create beautiful pop-up cards, jewelry, and flower crafts.

May 12, Dried Flower Bouquet Making. Head to the north end of the Ferry Building Marketplace to artfully design a beautiful mini dried flower bouquet.

May 12, Mother’s Day Floral Bouquet Cookie Decorating Class. Indulge your sweet tooth and embrace your creativity while learning a new skill that is sure to impress your friends and family.

May 18, Late Spring Floral Arranging with Natalie B. Learn the Art of Arranging Flowers from Natalie B at this vibrant floral experience. Each participant will make beauty with meaning.

May 19, Bay to Breakers. It’s a race made for everyone, so dress up, bring your friends and be cheered on every step of the way by SF’s finest crowds.

May 19, Islands By the Bay Festival. Celebrating the various cultures of the Asian Pacific islands, Islands by the Bay is an annual community festival at Yerba Buena Gardens.

May 28, Chinese Heritage Night. Celebrate the Year of the Dragon at the SF Giants annual Chinese Heritage Night.
