Plan your Week at Salesforce Transit Center

Just 0.4 miles from your home at Jasper, the Salesforce Transit Center is San Francisco’s newest, most innovative public space. With interiors open to the light, it’s a sociable, open space for people to gather, topped by a leafy park where the sky is the roof. We rounded up activities to keep you moving every day of the week at nearby Salesforce Transit Center!

Monday:

Yoga. A limited number of mats will be available to borrow on a first-come, first-served basis in the Amphitheater from 7:30-8:30am, through October 31. (no classes Sept. 2, or Oct. 14) 

Monday Night Makers. DIY activities from a different Bay Area crafting partner each month in the Main Plaza from 5-7pm through October 28 (no class Sept. 2, or Oct. 14). 

Tuesday:

Toddler Tuesdays. Outdoor fun with rotating local community guests, for ages 2 – 4 from 10-11am in the Children’s Play Area, year-round (no class Dec. 24 or Dec. 31). 

Writing Workshops. Writing tips from The Writers Studio; pens and notepads provided. In the Main Plaza from 12-1pm through October 29 (no class Sept. 3 or Oct. 15).

HIIT Bootcamp. High-intensity body weight and cardio exercises; no equipment required. From 5:30-6:30pm in the Amphitheater, year-round (no class Dec. 24 or Dec. 31). 

Wednesday:

Zumba®. High energy cardio dance for all ages and fitness levels from 7:30-8:30am in the Main Plaza through October 30. 

Beginner Knitting. Learn the basics of knitting, courtesy of knitting supply outpost ImagiKnit from 1-2:30pm in the Main Plaza through October 30.

Tai Chi. All ages and levels can improve balance, concentration and self-awareness through Tai Chi from 3-4pm on the Central Lawn through October 30. 

Live @ 5: After Work Music. Live after-work jams from seasoned Bay Area musicians curated by People in Plazas from 5-6pm in the Main Plaza through October 30.

Thursday:

Core + Stretch Express. A 30-minute lunchtime class to pair with Core + Stretch Express from 12:30-1pm in the Main Plaza, year-round (no class July 4 or Nov. 28). 

DJ Classes. Hands-on tutorial from Fingersnaps Media Arts, learn to scratch, sample, loop, and edit music for ages 10+ from 2:30-4pm in the Main Plaza through October 31. 

Creative Flow. Accessible and purposeful art making experiences to activate community, productive play, and well-being from 5-6:30pm in the Main Plaza through October 31. 

Yoga. A limited number of mats will be available to borrow on a first-come, first-served basis in the Amphitheater from 5:30-6:30pm, through October 31.

Friday:

Lunchbox Music. Mellow, acoustic music with your brown bag lunch from 12-1pm in the Main Plaza through October 25. 

Saturday:

Weekend UrbanKick. An energetic, equipment-free class blends sports conditioning and kickboxing from 12:30-1:15pm in the Main Plaza, year-round. 

Sunday:

Family Sunday Fun Day. Rotating shows for all ages presented by Happily Ever Laughter each Sunday from 11am-12:30pm on the Central Lawn through October 27.

Yoga. A limited number of mats will be available to borrow on a first-come, first-served basis in the Amphitheater from 2-3pm, through October 31. 

Daily:

Lots of family fun is available daily! M-F: 10am-6pm & weekends: 10am-4:30pm in the Main Plaza. Closed holidays.

Art Cart. Borrow a variety of art supplies for free! M-F: 10am-6pm & weekends: 10am-4:30pm in the Main Plaza.

Games Cart. All of the best board and tabletop games are available to borrow for free. Bring your friends or create a family night out! 

Children’s Reading Room. Impromptu storytime with classic picture books to borrow and enjoy while in the park.

As well as the above recurring events, Salesforce Transit Center has monthly and specialty events throughout the year, check their calendar often! As San Francisco’s new downtown gateway, it will greet tens of thousands of residents, commuters, and visitors daily, providing a dynamic destination while engaging, enriching, and connecting people coming and going throughout the San Francisco Bay Area.
