Must Attend Events in June

Life at Jasper puts you in the center of excitement each and every month. June brings summer and offers a variety of must attend events around the City. We’ve rounded up a few that include concerts, tours, festivals, parades, and more. Map out your month here:

June 1, Behind the Scenes at the Ferry Plaza Farmers Market. Enjoy coffee and a pastry, meet some of the market’s farmers and food makers, and enjoy delicious tastes along the way.

June 1 – October 27, Yerba Buena Gardens Festival. Hear music concerts and watch dance performances outdoors.

June 2, Free Family Day. Enjoy a day of art and family fun at SFMOMA.

June 2, SSFP Flip Faire. Flip Faire at SoMa StrEat Food Park is an open market and place to connect with the local community and meet awesome makers and artisans.

June 2-16, Warriors Watch Party. Step into your Warriors arena, get a front row view, and be a part of every play leading up to the DUB NATION TAKE OVER at SoMa StrEat Food Park.

June 2-15, Emperor Norton’s Fantastic San Francisco Waterfront Tour. Take a tour through San Francisco’s waterfront history alongside one of its most colorful characters.

June 6, Book Passage Event: Emilie Aries – Bossed Up. Emilie Aries is an award-winning speaker, podcaster, writer, and the Founder and CEO of Bossed Up. 

June 7, Margaritaville Night. The Giants invite you to have a FINtastic time with your fellow Parrotheads at Margaritaville Night!

June 8, RUBY. RUBY is a Cabaret and Dance Party Extravaganza Celebrating 40 years of SOMArts.

June 8, Gals With Gears. Ride from Harry Bridges Plaza/SF Ferry Building north to the Fairfax for the Festival. Return to SF Ferry Building via the Larkspur Ferry.

June 8-9, Escape from Alcatraz Triathlon. Involves a 1.5-mile swim from Alcatraz Island to the St. Francis Yacht Club, an 18-mile bike ride, and an 8-mile trail run through Golden Gate Recreational Area.

June 9, CUESA’s Summer Bash. For one night only, experience the Ferry Building as it is transformed for an epic party with food and drink from 45 top restaurants and 20 of the region’s finest spirit companies.

June 15, McCovey Cove Wine Mixer. The San Francisco Giants are proud to announce the first ever McCovey Cove Wine Mixer!

June 15, Yerba Buena Art Walk. Experience the Art Heart of downtown San Francisco’s Yerba Buena neighborhood for this FREE event that if fun for the whole family.

June 16, Father’s Day Brunch Beer Cruise. Treat dad this Father’s Day with a Brunch Beer Cruise around the bay by Hornblower Cruises.

June 16, 23, 30, Stern Grove Festival. Stern Grove Festival’s 82nd Season of free concerts will run every Sunday from June 16 through August 18.

June 20, Curator Swap. CJM, CHS & MoAD educators and curators examine work in each museum’s exhibitions in connection with Pride.

June 21, Botanicals and Brews Beer Garden. A ticket to includes one craft beer and access to the Conservatory of Flowers and the Palm Terrace beer garden.

June 22, ELOTE — The Corniest Festival Yet! Get your fix at NorCal’s first elote festival: ELOTE — The Corniest Festival Yet at SoMa StrEat Food Park.

June 22, Eat Like You Give A Fork Book Signing Tour. Partake in a live Eat Like You Give a Fork book signing, talk and discussion.

June 23, High on the Hog 2019. EPIC’s annual pig & pinot festival benefitting Guide Dogs for the Blind.

June 25, An Evening with Google Design. Through their experiences, get a glimpse of how UX and design work at Google’s scale; from research to interaction design, or UX writing and visual design.

June 26, Lopez de Heredia wines. This Ferry Plaza Wine Merchant event runs on Wednesdays from 4:30-7:30 pm and a great opportunity to enjoy delicious wines and chat with artisanal producers from around the globe.

June 29-30, San Francisco Pride. Celebrate LGBT San Francisco Pride with performances and exhibitors at Civic Center Plaza both days, a giant Pride Parade on Market Street, and a VIP Party at City Hall.

June 30, Japan Day Festival. Featuring Japanese music, dance, and taiko on two stages at Japantown Peace Plaza, plus the Art of Tea Ceremony.

Thru Oct 6, Concerts in the park. Golden Gate Park Band plays a variety of music (classical, marches, opera, swing, and show tunes) at Spreckels Temple of Music in Golden Gate Park.
