Must Attend Events in November

Life at Jasper gives you instant access to a variety of events in the city. From art shows to bacon and beer festivals, open studios to a host of holiday venues, we’ve rounded up some must attend events this month. Map out your November here.

Taste tea, shop from vendors, and attend workshops and lectures at the San Francisco International Tea Festival at the Ferry Building Marketplace on November 3-4. 

San Francisco Ski & Snowboard Festival on November 3-4. This annual event features discounts on clothing, skis and everything else you need for a season in the mountains. The event is at Pier 35. 

SF Corgi Meetup on November 4. Everyone Love’s a Corgi is coming back to SPARK for their November meet-up! 

The 13.1 mile Golden Gate Half on November 4 includes scenic views as you run from Aquatic Park across the Golden Gate Bridge. The 5K goes to Crissy Field Marsh and back. 

Join The East Cut for drinks and music during the Opening Reception of the Transcendence Art Show in conjunction with The East Cut Fridays on November 9th from 5-8pm. Running through January 31, 2019. 

The Bacon and Beer Classic is coming to AT&T Park on November 10 with 100+ beers from regional breweries, 30+ bacon dishes from local chefs, a blind beer taste test, bacon eating contest, lawn games, music, and more! 

Drink in the crispness of autumn with unlimited pours of 10+ juicy apple, sweet pear, zany pomegranate, and sour cranberry craft ciders at The San Francisco Fall Cider Festival on November 11. 

Open Studios through November 11. Visit up to 800 emerging and established artists in their studios during SF Open Studios, and attend preview and tasting parties on weekdays. 

The Commonwealth Club has a permanent place of its own and giving both members and nonmembers behind-the-scenes tours of their new home at 110 The Embarcadero. Join the November tour on November 14. 

Cirque du Soleil returns to the San Francisco Bay Area with VOLTA, a captivating voyage of discovery beginning on November 15. 

The Building Lighting Ceremony at Embarcadero Center is a San Francisco tradition and the official start of the holiday season in the City. The festivities begin on November 16 at 4:00pm with a family fun Carnival followed by the Building Lighting Ceremony at 6:00pm.

A ticket to Botanicals and Brews Beer Garden on November 16 includes one craft beer and access to the Conservatory of Flowers (until 10:30 p.m.) and the Palm Terrace beer garden (until 11:30 p.m.) for age 21+.

Try and buy wines from up to 100+ wineries during the Vintners Market at City View on November 17-18.

Taste fine artisan and gourmet chocolates and confections at the Fall Chocolate Salon in the San Francisco County Fair Building in Golden Gate Park on November 18.

Stock up on holiday staples at the CUESA Special Wednesday Thanksgiving Market on November 21.

Auto Show on November 21 – 25. Manufacturers display their new cars, SUVs, trucks, and vans at the San Francisco International Auto Show at Moscone Center, and some offer test drives.

Stop by the lobby of the Westin St. Francis to admire the St. Francis Holiday Display, featuring two castles with circular towers, individual rooms, and illuminated windows, surrounded by holiday sugar cakes. November 21, 2018 – January 2, 2019.

Join the San Francisco Turkey Trot in Golden Gate Park on November 22.

Illuminate SF Festival of Light features dozens of dramatic glowing art installations in different neighborhoods with lights festivals, guided tours, and self-guided walks. November 22, 2018 – Jan. 1, 2019.

Head to Union Square for the Tree Lighting on November 23, which begins at 5:30 p.m. with singers, a chorus, a gospel choir, and visits from Snoopy and Santa.

See a life-sized Gingerbread House made of thousands of homemade gingerbread bricks and tons of icing and candy in the lobby of the Fairmont San Francisco hotel. November 23, 2018 – January 1, 2019.

Etsy comes to life and is bringing the cheer at San Francisco’s popular holiday shopping experience during the SF Etsy Street Team 6th Annual Indie Holiday Emporium on November 24-25.

Join PIER 39 for the Winter Wine Pour on November 30. Sip wine, toast the holidays with friends and family, and enjoy The PIER’s dazzling new nightly tree lighting moments throughout the evening.
