Must Attend Events in June

June at Jasper and beyond is full of fun! From art and beer festivals to music in the park and Pride parades, we’ve rounded up some must attend events coming up in the city that definitely need to be added to your social calendar:

Make your way to ATT Park for special nights in June including: Korean, Portuguese, and Native American Heritage Nights, Girl Scout Day and Firefighter Appreciation Night. Explore the calendar here.

The San Francisco International Arts Festival features innovative cross-cultural performances by international artists at Fort Mason Center from June 1-3.

Mark your calendars for June 2! A ticket to San Francisco Beer & Music Festival gets you unlimited samples of 100 craft beers, with bands, DJs, and food for sale at Union Square

Head to ATT Park for the Sunday Brunch Series on June 3. Reception includes brunch style food and beverage menu, including coffee, mimosas, beer and wine.

Golden Gate Park Band plays a variety of music (classical, marches, opera, swing, and show tunes) at Spreckels Temple of Music in Golden Gate Park from June 3 – October 7.

Union Square Live is a series of summer concerts and dances, and even a circus act in Union Square from June 3 – September 26.

Attend 60 studio tours and 200 events during SF Design Week from June 7-15, with subjects that range from fashion and human-centered design to international architecture and tech inventions.

Join the 8th Annual Craft Spirits Carnival on June 9-10, celebrating the craft spirits movement. Enjoy a grand selection of handcrafted ultra-premium spirits from around the world in this two-day showcase.

Say Konichiwa to SPARK Social SF’s very first Sake Sushi Sumo Showdown at Spark Social on June 10.

CUESA’s having a 25th Birthday Bash on June 10! For one night only, the Ferry Building will be transformed for the freshest and most delicious party of a quarter century.

The magazine Best of San Francisco is throwing a big party with unlimited food, cocktails, wine, and dancing at the Palace of Fine Arts on June 12.

Embarcadero Center will host an interactive health forum called Total Wellness on June 14 from 11am-2pm.

The KalayaanSF Festival on June 16 includes street performers (music, dancing, martial arts), food booths, and craft vendors, plus a full-length concert at 5:30 p.m. on the main stage in Union Square.

Mark your calendars for June 23-24. Celebrate LGBT San Francisco Pride with performances at Civic Center Plaza both days, a giant Pride Parade Sunday at 10:30 a.m. on Market Street (from Beale to 8th), and a VIP Party Sunday 2 to 5 p.m. at City Hall.

Take in René Magritte: The Fifth Season at the SFMOMA through October 28. René Magritte was one of the most intriguing painters associated with Surrealism.
