12 Must Attend Events in March

As spring approaches, the weather is warming up and so are the events throughout the City.  We’ve rounded up a few events coming up that definitely need to be added to your social calendar:

Join a hands-on cooking class this March at the Williams-Sonoma Union Square Cooking School for Creole, Sushi and Saki, Dim Sum and more.

Head to the Terra Gallery on March 4 for The Art of Fire Gala benefiting the SF Firefighters Cancer Prevention Foundation.

Whip out your party hats and bring your dancing shoes to the Girls in Tech’s 10th Anniversary Party on March 10 at 111 Minna.

Grab your cape and fly over to The Super Run 5k – Heroes vs. Villains on March 11. This superhero themed run features a fun run, music, festivities and more.

Matisse/Diebenkorn at SFMOMA brings together 100 seminal paintings and drawings that reveal the connections between the two artists in subject, style, color, and technique. The exhibit runs from March 11–May 29.

The St. Patrick’s Day Parade on March 11 kicks off at 2nd Street and Market Street and ends at the Civic Center, where you’ll find the St. Patrick’s Day Festival with entertainment, arts and crafts, Irish exhibitors, and more.

Experience the finest in artisan, gourmet and premium chocolate at the 11th Annual San Francisco International CHOCOLATE SALON on March 18.

Journey through iconic moments in time and pop culture as Novela Bar infuses cocktails with music for a unique entertainment experience at the Sound of Cocktails Series on March 18.

Try “Iron Chef Challenge” Samples from the International Culinary Center in the CUESA kitchen on March 25.

Join SoulCycle SoMa on March 26 for the JDRF Young Leadership Committee’s Hope Gala Charity Ride with a 90’s Throwback Theme, just a half a mile from Jasper.

The scenic Rock ‘n’ Roll Half Marathon on March 26 crosses the Golden Gate Bridge with live bands along the way, and a free beer at the finish line festival.

Baseball fans, watch the Giants take on their Bay Area rivals, the Oakland A’s at AT&T Park on March 30-31.
